Three questions decide the destination faster than any photograph: how your guests will travel, how many of them need rooms, and when you want to marry. Settle those and the shortlist usually narrows to two or three places.
| Destination | Best for | Guest count that works best | Season | Getting there |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jaipur | Palace weddings and the widest venue choice | 50 to 800 | October to March | Direct flights from Indian metros, Dubai and Singapore; about five hours by road from Delhi |
| Udaipur | Lake and hill settings, scenic celebrations | 150 to 350 at one resort; more across two | October to March | Flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad |
| Jodhpur | Grand palace scale with fort views | 300 to 600 | October to March; December and January coolest | Flights from Delhi and Mumbai; about five hours from Jaipur |

If most guests fly in from several cities or from abroad, start with Jaipur, Goa or Abu Dhabi, which have the most direct flights. Pushkar, Ranthambore and Jaisalmer reward the extra journey with something no city can offer, but plan arrival days and transfers from the start.
Count outstation guests separately from local ones. Room inventory, not lawn size, usually decides the destination. Jaipur, Goa and Jodhpur handle large room blocks easily; Ranthambore, Pushkar and Jaisalmer are best for 250 guests or fewer, or for weddings split across two hotels.
Rajasthan and Goa are winter destinations. If your date falls in summer or the monsoon, Bangalore and Abu Dhabi's indoor venues become the practical choices. Across India, the weeks around Kharmas and the peak November and February dates book 10 to 12 months ahead.
Our team brings over 50 years of combined luxury hospitality experience and long-standing relationships with hotels in every destination on this page. We check dates across several venues at once, hold rooms and function spaces, confirm terms in writing, and then plan the full wedding if you want us to.
Send your dates, guest count and style. We will suggest two or three destinations and the venues that fit.
It depends on your guest list and style. Jaipur has the widest choice of palace venues and the best flight connections, Udaipur suits scenic lake and hill celebrations, Goa suits beach weddings where guests treat the trip as a holiday, and Jodhpur suits grand palace-scale weddings. We shortlist based on your dates, guest count and priorities.
Jaipur and Goa are the easiest, with direct flights from the major Indian metros and several international cities. Bangalore resorts sit 30 to 45 minutes from the airport. Pushkar and Ranthambore are a road or rail journey from Jaipur, and Jaisalmer usually needs a connection through Jodhpur.
October to March for Rajasthan, and November to February for Goa. Bangalore works across most of the year, and Abu Dhabi runs from October to April. Hindu wedding dates pause during Kharmas, roughly mid-December to mid-January, so the weeks either side book early everywhere.
An Indian destination gives you the widest venue choice and the easiest travel for family. Abu Dhabi gives you an international setting within a three to four hour flight, with simple visas for Indian guests, so far fewer people drop out than for a wedding in Europe or the Far East.
Yes. These are the destinations where we book most often, but we work with hotels across India. Send us your preferred city, dates and guest count and we will tell you what is possible.
