How to Choose a Wedding Venue in Jaipur
Most Jaipur wedding venues fall into five types. Each one suits a different kind of celebration, so decide the type first and the hotel second.

Where the Wedding Venues Are in Jaipur
Amer and Delhi Road
Fairmont Jaipur, The Leela Palace, Mementos by ITC Hotels and Taj Amer sit north of the city towards Amber Fort, with the Aravalli hills behind them. This is where most of Jaipur's large resort weddings happen. Allow around an hour from the airport, depending on traffic.
Inside the city
Taj Rambagh Palace, Jai Mahal Palace and Hyatt Regency Mansarovar are the easiest venues for guests who live in Jaipur and for anyone flying in. Hyatt Regency is about 7 km from the airport.
Agra Road and the outskirts
Taj Devi Ratn is on Agra Road at the foot of the Aravallis, and Mundota Fort lies west of the city. Both feel secluded, which is the point, but plan coaches for the wedding days.
Match the Venue to Your Guest Count
- Up to 150 guests: Mementos by ITC Hotels, Taj Devi Ratn and the smaller lawns at Jai Mahal Palace let an intimate wedding feel full rather than lost.
- 150 to 350 guests: Anantara Jewel Bagh, Taj Amer and Taj Devi Ratn handle this range well, often as a full or near-full booking.
- 350 guests and above: Fairmont Jaipur, The Leela Palace, Hyatt Regency, Taj Rambagh Palace and Mundota Fort have the lawns and ballrooms for large receptions.
Count outstation guests separately from local ones. Only outstation guests need rooms, and the room block usually decides which hotel works more than the size of the lawn does.
Questions to Ask Before You Book a Jaipur Venue
- How long will the hotel hold our dates, and what deposit confirms them?
- What is the minimum room block, and when can unused rooms be released?
- Can we bring outside decorators, caterers or entertainers, and is there a fee?
- What time must outdoor music stop, and which indoor space is the backup for rain or heat?
- Is any other wedding or event booked at the hotel on our dates?
- Where can the baraat form, and are fireworks or a ghodi allowed?

When to Book a Wedding Venue in Jaipur
For November, December and February dates, start 10 to 12 months ahead; the heritage palaces often fill even earlier. Auspicious wedding dates cluster in the season, and Hindu weddings pause during Kharmas (roughly mid-December to mid-January), so the weeks either side are in high demand. Summer and monsoon dates are easier to secure, with ballrooms taking the place of lawns.
