Guest Count and Rooms

Both hotels can keep a big wedding under one roof, with 210 rooms at Fairmont Agra and 233 at ITC Mughal. That usually covers 350 to 400 staying guests. For a longer list, we split guests across the two hotels, which are a short drive apart, and run transfers between them.

Taj Mahal Visits and Photo Shoots

Most couples add a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal for their guests, or a pre-wedding shoot for themselves. The monument is closed on Fridays and has its own rules for professional photography, so we plan visits and shoots around the wedding days and book tickets for the whole group.

Getting There and When to Go

Most guests drive from Delhi on the Yamuna Expressway in three to four hours, or take a fast train from Delhi in under two hours. Agra Airport has only a few domestic flights. October, November, February and March are the most comfortable months. December and January can bring heavy morning fog that delays flights, trains and road travel, and April to June is very hot, so outdoor functions move to the evening.
