Jaipur has more wedding-ready luxury hotels than at any point in the last decade. Old palaces like Rambagh and Jai Mahal still book out first. But the season is also being shaped by large new resorts on the Delhi highway, fort hotels an hour out of the city, and properties that opened only in the last few years. This guide covers the 17 Jaipur hotels we book most often. For each one you get what it does well, how big a wedding it can take, what it is listed at, and what to check before you sign.
Prices below are indicative. They come from publicly listed starting rates checked in October 2026, and the final quote always depends on your dates, guest count and menu.
We didn't rank these hotels by star rating. We looked at what couples actually ask us for, and four things keep coming up:

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rambagh Palace | City palace | 78 | Naksha Garden, up to 2,000 | Iconic palace wedding, family-only stay |
| Jai Mahal Palace | City palace | ~100 | Palace Lawns, 700 (1,000+ standing) | Garden weddings in the city |
| ITC Rajputana | City hotel | 218 | Suryavanshi Mahal, 450 | City weddings near the old town |
| Fairmont Jaipur | Palace-style resort | 245 | Main lawns, 1,000–2,500 | Large weddings with full stay |
| The Leela Palace | Palace-style resort | ~200 | Sundarban Lawns, 1,600 | Large luxury weddings |

| Alila Fort Bishangarh | Hilltop fort | 87 | Aravalli Lawn, 650 reception | Small, private fort weddings |
| OZEN Villas Jaipur | Pre-opening villa resort | 181 villas (planned) | 20,000 sq ft indoor venue | Couples planning for late 2027 onwards |
Still the most requested wedding address in Jaipur. It has 78 rooms and suites on 47 acres, about 11 km from the airport. Naksha Garden takes up to 2,000 guests and Mughal Garden handles receptions of around 1,000. Worth knowing: 78 keys only cover close family and VIPs. Most Rambagh weddings put the rest of the guests in a second hotel, so plan transfers from day one.
A Taj palace in Civil Lines with Mughal gardens that suit daytime functions. Palace Lawns (about 40,000 sq ft) seat around 700. The Lotus Pond is a favourite spot for pheras. Worth knowing: Durbar Hall is the main indoor space and seats only 130–150, so a winter evening reception needs a lawn plan with heaters.
A 218-room hotel on Palace Road, close to the railway station and the old city. It suits city weddings of about 450–550 guests per function where guests also want to shop and sightsee. Worth knowing: function spaces are banquet halls, not big lawns. Choose it for convenience, not for an open-air mandap for 1,000.
One of the most booked wedding hotels in the city. It has 245 rooms, a 10,678 sq ft Grand Ballroom and main lawns of 27,000 sq ft that take 1,000 or more guests. It handles a three-day, 400-guest wedding without needing a second hotel. Worth knowing: it is at Kukas on the Delhi road, so guests heading into the old city should allow travel time.
Around 200 rooms, suites and villas, many with private courtyards or plunge pools. It has 10 event spaces, led by Sundarban Lawns (33,264 sq ft, up to 1,600 for a reception). Worth knowing: it is about 30 km from the airport, outside the city centre.
One of Jaipur's newer luxury hotels, with two of the larger indoor halls in the city. Jaigarh (about 16,500 sq ft) takes up to 1,000 theatre-style and Kundanvan Ballroom up to 800. Worth knowing: its strength is indoor space. That's useful if you want the reception inside regardless of weather.
A newer 351-room resort on about 40 acres near Jamwa Ramgarh, built with big Indian weddings in mind. There are 12 venues, including the 70,000 sq ft Suijin Lawn for up to 2,000 guests. Worth knowing: it is about 43 km from the airport. It fits weddings that want every guest on one site, not couples who want an old-city feel.
A villa-style resort with a strong design focus, opened in 2024. Shahi Bagh (about 60,000 sq ft) takes 500–1,000+ guests. Smaller lawns like Jalsa Bagh and Bargadh Bagh suit sangeet and haldi. Worth knowing: its listed plate rates are among the highest in Jaipur, and it has far fewer rooms than its lawn can seat.
Opened in 2022 with 245 rooms, about 7 km from the airport. It has over 53,000 sq ft of event space, including Chauras Bagh for 1,000+ guests and the 11,200 sq ft Regency Ballroom. Worth knowing: it sits in a residential city area, not a palace setting. The Hyatt Regency Jaipur wedding cost guide has more detail.
Designed like a Rajasthani ancestral home, with 150 rooms and about 67,000 sq ft of event space. Amer Bagh takes up to 1,000 guests and the Kohinoor Mahal ballroom works for an indoor sangeet. Worth knowing: most rooms are one category (Premier), so it suits weddings of up to about 300 staying guests.
A newer resort on nine acres in the Aravalli foothills, with 135 rooms, suites and pool villas. Worth knowing: the largest spaces hold about 350 guests. Book it for an intimate or mid-size wedding, not a 700-guest reception.
A contemporary Taj resort at Jamdoli, about 18 km from the airport, with around 125 rooms. The Adya Ballroom opens onto a lawn. Worth knowing: it is built for weddings of up to about 300 guests. See our Taj Devi Ratn wedding guide.
Planned with 181 private-pool villas on about 20 acres, plus a 20,000 sq ft indoor event venue. Worth knowing: it is not yet open and the opening date is not confirmed. Only consider it if your dates are well into the future and you have a backup hotel held.
Around 125 rooms and cottages and eight venues, from a hilltop fort to the Polo Lawns, which seat up to 3,000. Worth knowing: very few Jaipur venues can take a 3,000-guest function. Check road access and parking for that number early.
A fortified palace about 33 km from old Jaipur, with 58 suites and Rajput–Mughal interiors. Manohar Garden takes about 800 and the main courtyard about 500. Worth knowing: the suites house close family only, so larger weddings need guest rooms elsewhere.
A 43-room palace in Samode village, about an hour from Jaipur. With so few rooms, a full buyout is often possible, so the whole palace is yours for the wedding. Worth knowing: the guest list that can stay on site is small. Most families add a nearby hotel for extended guests.
An 18th-century hilltop fort with 87 rooms and suites, about 70 km from the airport. It sleeps roughly 150–170 guests, and the Aravalli Lawn takes about 650 for a standing reception. Worth knowing: the long drive from the airport means guest transfers need careful timing, especially for elderly relatives.
These are the starting rates hotels list publicly. Where a hotel's own listing looked out of date, we have shown the 2026 range quoted by Jaipur wedding caterers and planners instead. How to read this table:
Most luxury hotels in Jaipur insist on their own kitchen for all meals. This matters if your family wants a specific community cook, a Jain or Marwari menu from a known halwai, or a favourite caterer from home. Only two hotels on our list currently allow outside caterers.

|---|---|---|
| Fairmont Jaipur | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| Rambagh Palace | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| Jai Mahal Palace | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |

| The Leela Palace Jaipur | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| Taj Amer | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| Taj Devi Ratn | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| Mementos by ITC Hotels | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| The Westin Jaipur | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| Samode Palace | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| Chomu Palace | In-house only | Outside decorators allowed |
| Hyatt Regency Mansarovar | In-house only | Hotel panel decorators only |
| Alila Fort Bishangarh | In-house only | Hotel panel decorators only |

Policies change and are often negotiable for large bookings. Some in-house-only hotels will allow a specialist cook for one counter or one cuisine, usually for a fee and only if their kitchen supervises. Ask for any exception in writing before you sign, along with any vendor entry or royalty fees.

Many of the families booking these hotels live in the USA, UK, Canada, the Gulf or Australia. The hotel choice matters more for them, because most of the guest list flies in.
We cover this in detail in our guide to planning an Indian wedding from the USA, UK or Canada.

November to February is peak season in Jaipur. The weather is pleasant and most Hindu wedding muhurats fall in these months. The popular palace and large-resort dates fill first, often a year or more ahead for weekend muhurats. If you want Rambagh, Fairmont, the Leela or Jai Mahal on a peak Saturday, start enquiring 12–18 months out.
The busiest dates are the ones with a strong muhurat that also fall on a weekend. Several families chase the same few dates, so hotels quote higher and hold firm. There is usually a break from mid-December to mid-January (Kharmas), when few Hindu weddings are held. Check the 2027 vivah muhurat calendar and the November 2026 dates before you shortlist hotels.
If your family is flexible, these options usually give better room availability and stronger negotiating room:
Summer (May–June) is very hot, and many hotels offer lower rates for indoor-only weddings.
Our team has more than 50 years of combined luxury hospitality experience and long-standing relationships with Jaipur's hotels. We check real availability for your dates, put the room block and venue holds in place, and confirm them on your behalf. We compare quotes across hotels on the same terms so you can see the real difference. Once the hotel is secured, we can also plan the full wedding.
Tell us your dates, guest count and the hotels you like:
Rambagh Palace remains the most requested palace venue. Fairmont Jaipur and The Leela Palace are the most requested for large weddings where all guests stay on site.
Listed plate rates at luxury hotels start at about ₹2,500–₹8,500 per person before tax. One-day destination packages (rooms, meals and a venue) are listed at roughly ₹30 lakh to ₹1.6 crore, depending on the hotel and the number of rooms. A three-day wedding at a top hotel typically runs to several crore once décor and taxes are added.
Mundota Fort's Polo Lawns seat up to 3,000. Rambagh's Naksha Garden and Ananta's Suijin Lawn each take about 2,000. For the number of guests who can stay on site, Ananta (351 rooms), Fairmont (245) and Hyatt Regency (245) lead.
Samode Palace, Alila Fort Bishangarh, Chomu Palace and The Westin Jaipur all work well. Samode and Alila can often be booked in full.
For peak Saturdays from November to February, start 12–18 months ahead. For mid-week or shoulder-season dates, 6–9 months is often enough.
Usually not. Listed rates are before tax. GST is 18% on rooms above ₹7,500 a night and 18% on food and beverage at luxury hotels.
Most luxury hotels in Jaipur allow outside decorators, sometimes for a fee, but catering is in-house only. Of the hotels in this guide, only Ananta Spa & Resort and Mundota Fort & Palace currently allow outside caterers. Hyatt Regency and Alila Fort Bishangarh use decorators from their own panel, and Anantara Jewel Bagh uses in-house decor.
Not yet. It is a pre-opening property and the opening date has not been confirmed. If you are considering it, hold a backup hotel.
